Help with insulin pump expenses?

My 15 year-old son has Type I diabetes and was on the Omni Pod system until my husband's truss plant closed this past September. We lost our insurance and now my son is really struggling to control his blood sugars with MDI-which didn't work real well in the first place which is why he was on the Pod. The Pods are $365 for a 20 day supply. Needless to say, with only unemployment comp. for income, we can't afford this much needed therapy. We tried DSHS, but they won't contract with the Insulet Company (makers of the Pod [which is an absolute God send of a product]). Does anyone know of a philanthropic organization that would help us get this life saving equipment?
