Where could one learn the traditional 5 shaolin animal styles in china?
I heard from a similar question that i had asked that many kung fu masters have left china due to the communist government and that the shaolin monastery is interested only in impressing tourists nowadays, yet i would honestly like to set one of my goals in life as acquiring the skills of the 5 animal styles. i had lived in china as a kid (im an irish/itallian canadian though so being incredibly white is probably not a good start) and had always admired the people who trained kungfu in parks or their barkyards from the view of my apartment. i feel that learning these skills in china to the point of comitting several years of young life to it. I am in great shape and honestly believe i am capable of learning the art of kungfu. any places i might be able to go to learn the traditional skills and learn qigong and (in the least arrogant way possible) break bricks and stuff like some of the 72 shaolin arts would teach? i want to go out of this world knowing that i trained my body in mind in the old ways of chinese martial arts.
