How many Britons are there of German origin?

Only 3...we round them up every year and laugh at them...how stupid is this question? What do you mean by 'origin'? 100 years? 1,000? Seeing as though we were invaded by the Anglo-Saxons 1,000 years ago that would mean that most ethnic Brits have some percentage of German heritage in them.
