Can I Mix Veggie Oil With Sculpey Clay to get a more realistic frosting such as the on in the video?

I don't have any TLS right now, and I can't get any until next week. So I heard that I could use Veggie Oil, or Vaseline to get the same effect. If I can ( I have both the Oil and Vaseline) How do I go about doing so?
