Who was Che Guevara?

Revolutionary communist leader born in Argentina, graduated in medicine from the University of Buenos Aires in 1953 and joined Fidel Castro's Cuban revolutionary movement[1955] and went on to play an important part in the Cuban revolution which ousted dictator Batista & brought Castro to power [1956-59]. He left Cuba in 1965 to become a guerilla leader in South America and was captured and murdered while trying to organise a revolt. [1967]. He published a book of memoirs on the Cuban revolution and a handbook on guerilla warfare .
