Is this a forthright opinion too far from Geoffrey Boycott?

I don't know why they ever let him start commentating, he is pompous, arrogant and biased. I used to cringe every time I heard he was coming into the commentary box. Bring back Henry Blofeld, now he had some cl. Whether it was his "my dear old things" line or cheering whenever the cameraman showed a seagull, I throughly enjoyed hearing his cheery voice rather than the grumpy condecending prattle that spews from Boycotts mouth.
