Can't get into my Renault Laguna...?

I have a 2001+ Renault Laguna and the keycard now doesn't allow me to unlock the door. The manual part of the card (the bit you can detatch to unlock the penger door) doesnt work in the door itself - it just turns, so I can't get into the car at all. I've ordered a replacement card from France through the local dealer and that should arrive in about a week. But I'm uming they'll need the car on site to reprogram it - something I cant do because the I can't get in. Any ideas how I can get in there, with the exception of calling out a locksmith or a burglar?! I'm tempted to use www.keyrepair.co.uk but haven't had a reply to my couple of emails...
